Hi all,
Wanted to voice my feeling about a new deer rifle I bought this year. A Nesika long range in 7mm Rem Mag. I paid $2600 shipped and insured from Buds gun shop in Lex Ky. I know this is a lot of money but for all practical purposes it is a custom rifle, which would run at least a thousand dollars more, so in some ways I think it is a good value. It has a Nesika action with a 26" fluted Douglas air gauged barrel. Timney trigger and Bell and Carlson stock. I have owned 7mm rem mags before but they never shot as well as I wanted so thought I would take a chance on this one. I am very pleased, I started working up a load with recepies that worked good in other rifles. It shot all the loads well but at max of 70gr RL-22 and 140gr Nosler BT it shot into .25" at 3165fps. I put a nightforce 4-14x56 scope on it with the MOA reticle. Just shot two deer with it, one at 250yds and one at 300yds. Love this rifle!
