500 yrd Deer

I work with a group called Missouri Disabled Sportsmen. We have several track chairs and put on quite a few hunts across the state. We have deer hunts, turkey hunts, rabbit hunts, goose hunts, fishing trips, etc. We have a lot of information on Facebook if you are interested.
I would be interested but not on facebook, they put me in jail 2x and i cancelled my account. Have no desire to support an organization who determines what i can and cannot say! But thanks anyway.

Im a disabled Mo. hunter. Missed one twice opening day. Have ya got somebody who can shoot for a cripple? Doug
We won't pull the trigger but we will do everything we can to make you successful. A couple years ago one of our hunters used a device activated with his breath. I'm not the technology guy but one of our volunteers found this device that uses his iphone and a straw like thing. It was quite the accomplishment.
If you facebook take a look at our page. That and many other great stories and pictures.

Naw , I can still jerk the trigger. Just cant get comfortable. Used to go to swan lake on the handicapped hunt killed a few up there. when John ran the reserve. 154 was my best. Doug

Really nice buck. Nicely done on the long shot!

Nice buck. I helped a friend at that hunt 3 years ago. He had killed a real nice one up there a few years earlier and I talked him into laying off a couple of 100" deer early and of course never got another chance.
Being at that place at first light was incredible. I never knew so many ducks existed.
Good luck to ya, lots of trigger time still left this year.

The first time I went up there you had to take a muzzleloader. A little 8 point came out in muzzleloader range . I shot him. Then 3 Boo ne and Crockets walked out about 100 yds. I learned a hard lesson. The feds ran the reserve the first c ouple of times I went Then MDC took It over. They opened it up to more hunting. I dont know what its like anymore with cwd . It used to be a good hunt. Doug

Nice shot! My 7 Mag brought on a new life when I switched to Reloader 22 powder.
I have become an Alliant powder fan in the last few years. I have loaded for three 7mm rem mags and they all love this load! It is max so work up carefully. I also use rl-15 in my 22-250 and rl-17 in my 6mm, they all shoot exceptionally!

8 am opening day here in the state of Missouri, Bagged this 12 point at 500 yds with Nesika custom in 7mm Rem Mag. Loaded with handload of RL-22 and 140 gr Nosler BT. The scope is a 5-20x56 nightforce SHV with MOAR reticle. This rifle shoots .5" at 200 yds and never changed zero!
Not to hijack the thread, but Randy Ford sent me a 5x-20x Quigley-Ford Long Range Hunting scope to test. This is the dual focal plane scope and it features hash marks from 200 to 1000 yards that allow one to use the marks without turning the elevation dial. The scope must be zeroed at 200 yards. Each scope reticle must be made for a particular load. Also this scope has a heavy lined reticle set in the second focal plane that helps the shooter locate the fine crosshair of the FFP primary reticle.

I took my rifle to a friends 600 yard range and shot at my plywood deer at a measured 500 yards. As seen in the picture the two shots were centered and less than one inch apart.
