I like your confidence in the Court , but it won't have to come to that if we all do as Ned Ludd suggested , and get involved . Really tired of seeing all this whining , bitchin , snivelin , and complaining about this , but never read any post from anyone that they spent the day knocking on doors , or passing out campaign flyers , or making phone calls for their favorite pro-gun politician . If you aren't part of the solution , YOU are definitely part of the problem . And all the lip-service in the world won't help if the anti-gun lft takes over . They will ram this through .

If this election goes the wrong way. Lots of people will see changes that there never dreamed of seeing. You will see states try to leave the union counties leaving the states. I bet 18 months after if biden wins we will be in some kind of civil war at a state level. All the military want be backing the left some will others want. May sound radical to some but just look around you will see how much things have changed in such a short time. Things you never dreamed of seeing are happening. The top leaders of the house of rep in a round about way promoting violence and try to make it seam needed for social justice. We take god out of everything we do because god is something they cant control. So want to take god away from us by teaching our young folks in our schools that you dont need him. When you just drive down the road or go to the store you see that most have no respect for each other no god in there life. Teached out of our young folks. One thing to keep in mind, and I honestly don't support either party, is that Trump is not a Politician or a lawyer. He is a business man. To me this is what an average person would say reacting to this school shooting event. Having a "knee-jerk" reaction as a comment vs a determined interest to dismantle the 2nd amendment is not comparable.

The way he tends to throw anyone and everyone under the bus leads me to believe that if he was ever put into a position where he was forced to choose between saving his ass or saving your guns methinks his ass will win out. What you say here simply describes a/any politician or narcissist. I don't disagree.

Reading what he said...and more importantly WHY...it isn't hard to determine his motive in this instance. It was the instance you brought up and was addressed.

That video sounds a lot like Red Flag legislation except I could call my local PD saying you [my neighbor] keep talking about going down to the local FD and threatening to take out firemen so the police could show up and demand your guns and worry about the other crap later. There's no doubt that a lot of red flags have been missed when some of those shooting events are investigated and dissected. While one side appears to be more sympathetic to 2A issues, there's no guarantee that he will produce if the moment of truth arrives.
