This reminds me of a few years ago when I visited where I grew up. I went to check out where I raced Motocross, thinking that since those places flooded every few years, it must still be motocross tracks, no one in their right mind would ever build on those flood plains with all the evidence of past flooding. How wrong I was, the tracks were now replaced by expensive housing estates. When we got out for a walk, a local told us it wont flood here anymore because climate change will reduce the amount of rain. When it flooded badly the next year, you can guess what they blamed the floods on.Yup , I'd believe it . The rates pushed sky high by the same morons that have to have a "Beach-front" location . And when it gets blown away , they will want "We the tax-paying People" to pay for their loss . Like the same-same Morons that keep rebuilding on a flood plain after being flooded out four or five times . And demanding Federal funds to re-build , again . The Feds should just buy the land , and force them to move . End of drain on the tax-payers . IMO !
With that much money you could leave and get a new house in state with the least hurricanes attacks.Would you believe $20,000 insurance bills per year!![]()
