Stock opinion for Short range for score benchrest.

Thanks im still kind of torn between the TMBR and KLUB. I might just ask their opinion when i go to order. Im kind of leaning towards the KLUB.

Here is the bag setup im currently using. The rest is a Cowan. I will update bags down the road if needed.

I've not had a KLP but have shot many Klubs and it's near copies of the Robertson, as well as the TMBR. I currently own both of those. JMHO, but I don't think you'll dislike either one but I prefer the Robertson/Klub design. No real complaints with either.

Seems to me that you're on the right track with leaning towards a KLUB. Go for it! More than a few "top shelf" competitors that are "in the know" and have real world experience have weighed in on this very thread suggesting the KLUB. It's pretty hard to make an argument with that...

As far as color goes im thinking black in blue or blue on black.

I wish they had their colors listed somwhere

I would love to but im in Canada and only someone with an export permit can ship it to me. So Kelblys can ship it to me but bc'z couldn't

Try to find a decent used Mcmillan benrest stock with the pistol grip. I have a couple and they work for me.

I wish I could ship you my hs precision stock that was modded to short from long . It worked fine but it would never make it without a load of trouble.

Ive had both a klub and a klp and I would take the klp over the klub but thats just me

I ended up ordering a Klub last Tuesday . they said it would be month and a half to 2 months beforevits ready to ship.

Dammit, it just dawned on Me that you could get in touch with George and Ruth Carter in Omemee, Ontario. They are on the Canadian Bench rest team and are smiths in their own right. They have outstanding equipment and are always ready with advice and guidance. I can get their contact info if it isn’t too late.
