This just came in the mail. It’s the second press I’ve gotten from Matt Owens AKA ARKOMATT. I’ve have several Hood type presses, but the ones Matt puts out are just a notch above. I liked the first one I so much I had to have a second one. So one set up for Short range and the other for Long range. My other Presses have been assigned bullet pulling and small base sizing duties.

Super nice.
That should color coordinate with the new stock.

oh my,

nice stuff,

it is indeed nice when we can afford neat stuff to make our hobby more enjoyable,

happy Bart, happy wife

Hey Bart, those presses look great, really like the wood handles.

Any feedback on the seating accuracy would be appreciated. I have a Hood press set up for the Wilson in-line seating dies and was looking at this press to go with a screw in seating die. It appears the seater ram rod just rides freely on top of a cross rod and I was wondering if that set up provides seating consistency with the screw in die.

Thanks.

It works great! Very accurate and repeatable, the press is smooth but tight. Not a lot of wiggle. You can get one setup for a screw in die or a Wilson style seater. Plus the tactile clicks for adjusting your full length die is great and it does an excellent job catching primers.
