I have started shooting 600 yard F-Class (Open). I am looking for recommendation on a front rest. I cannot afford to go with a SEB Neo at this point. Im looking at the Sinclair Competition Rest and curious what else is out there that may be better. I was looking at the Bald Eagle from Grizzly also but the windage adjustment seems to be finicky and I saw the windage mod guys do to them but that put the adjustment knob pretty far forward. Would the Sinclair adjustment be out of reach also when laying down on the gun? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I use a Sinclair comp with the upgraded elevation screw. It is a major upgrade over the bald eagle.
Are the windage and elevation well within reach when laying on the gun?
Yes. I think the controls are well laid out for prone.

If you want to get outside the box a bit, check out www.viperbench-rest.com .Go to Customizing and scroll down to the red F-Class rest. His work is top-notch and definitely one-off customs to your spec's. I have one of his bench-rests and is a valued possession. Not sure if he is making them anymore, but it's worth a shot. Bob ( The Viper ) Pastor is one of the winningest F guys out there from back in the day.

Does he sell the entire rest or just the top?
yes, I bought the Bald Eagle then upgraded to the Shadetree. I don’t know if you can get just the bottom. If I could do it again I’d get the triangle one not the Slingshot which is to narrow. Hell maybe I will do it again. I’ll reply to the op.

The Shadetree will fit..3/4-10 shaft
If you want a Sed Neo buy one, you will save money in the long run.
x 2. Plus you can gradually upgrade the Mini as funds allow. There's some very worthwhile mods out there such as upgraded tops, feet etc.
