Sinclair Comp Shooting Rest BR

Can anyone tell me if the Sinclair Gen II Windage Top fits onto the Sinclair Comp BR Shooting Rest? I would like to add the parallel windage adjustment of the Gen II to the Comp Rest if its possible to fit it onto the centre post. This would then provide both pivot adjustment with the parallel adjustment, giving adjustment for windage and alignment just like the first Seb rest did before the later Neo version.

Any info much appreciated!

I see no reason to do this, I use one for 1K and it does very well. Some other things i changed ,but the gun comes right back in the box. ...... jim

What other things did you change?

Ian, The center post thread is too slow, made 1"8 thread and a hand wheel from hart. The hart wheel is smaller and works better. Removed the speed screw and replaced it with a carbide tipped leg with a 2" knurled top for elevation, also added carbide tips to the other legs. I got the tips from MSC. they are replacement tips for dead centers,or you can use AP. rounds and get the cores out of the bullets. I replaced the the windage spring set up with a much stiffer spring and made a cap from a 1/2-20 bolt and made a Delrin bushing for the other end.
I see the are on sale at Sinclair now...... jim

Jim, the 21st Century rest looks very nice but a little pricey for what I want. I have a SEB Neo and just want a decent rest for my young son's F-Open shooting next year. I have ordered the Sinclair rest and hopefully with a few tweaks it will work well. Thanks for taking the time to give me your experience in using the rest. It means a lot to get feedback from shooter's using the equipment that you are thinking about buying!

Ian, I have guys i shoot with use them as is and don't have any problems, maybe i'm too picky ......You may do better with the Sinclair i had two Neo's,there is no rest that can make up for a gun that won't track..... jim
