Really? Oklahoma in general or tulsa? Its funny I live north of Phoenix and ill do everything I can to avoid going into town. Yet some people think its the greatest place on earth lol.

Howdy, again !

Spent the first 55yr of my life living on the family farm in NE Indiana.
Groundhog heaven, fer sher! Got blown out of their when the State took the whole frontage off the farm via “ Eminent Domain “ , as part of 4-lane ‘ing US 24 from Ft Wayne to Toledo. Was retiring from Civil Service that year, anyway. First moved out to Wichita Falls, TX for a job @ Sheppard AFB. Moved to Broken Arrow, OK when a better job became available in Tulsa.

I myself like the lower humidity here vs NE Indiana. Also enjoy the lack of snow, and longer warm weather season. Had a Feb a few years back where it was 80* and above the nearly the whole month.

It’s a nice drive out here from Phoenix, w/ great scenery around the road side rest area near the AZ/NM state line.

I always hear that, but everyone wants big dollars to come help shoot those hogs.

I've never heard of anyone charging to kill pigs. That sounds like these hunting ranches wanting you to pay. All most landowners ask is that you respect their land and not shoot any of their livestock or dogs.

Hunting pigs is always hit or miss. Don't think you are just going to drive out and start shooting hogs. They are a lot smarter than that.

Ive shot them in Louisiana and Florida. They are definitely a worthy adversary.
