Would you be kind enough to share your favorite 223 load for a bolt rifle, that would be good for F-class? I'm looking for 77 grain bullets and heavier please. Thanks guys!

80.5 Berger Full bore, Lapua Match brass, fed 205m, 22.5 gr. Reloder 15. Bullet seated .010 off. This is a max load, so start at 21.5 gr. Reloder 15.

Search the "Small Stuff" forum using the query, "90 VLD". There is more info there than you will be able to easily absorb, but it should be more than enough to get you on the right track. Pay careful attention to the information about twist rates (you really don't need more than a 7.0-twist), barrel lengths, freebore lengths necessary for optimally loading the various 80-95 gr .224" bullets, and brass life.

90 VLD, 24.3g Varget, Lapua brass, 205M primer, +0.007 into the lands, 2,725 fps

My 16 year old boy made High Master with that load at 600 yards

Starting? 77sierra and ~24gr varget with F205m. Seating depth adjust to your rifle and build from there. Recommended for 300y. Farther, 80+gr for sure.

Is that a 77SMK, or 77TMK?
Well... I guess I should ask, would it matter? <cough AR>. Smk is my experience. I'll be honest though. I'm shooting the 77 at 600y; and it goes; but it's a wind reading challenge. Bolt action F-class; skip the 77 and go straight to the 80+.

80 VLD with Varget @ 24 to 25 gr. and CCI 450. C.O.L. is 2.560. Like to seat out past the donut with only the boat tail below that. As for on or off the lands. My rifle has passed the 1,000 round mark and is way off the lands. I am ashamed to say .200 off the lands, but it still shoots pretty good. I have shot 25.5 gr of Varget, but brass doesn't last long at all.
