Forster Micrometer Seating Die

I have a Forster Micrometer Seating die for a 243. Can I purchase just the inner sleeve for a 22/250? I looked inline at Forster and Sinclair and neither seems to list any parts.

Haven't tried calling them yet, their offices are closed now.

PS I don't have the reamer or I would make it myself.

I bought sleeves from Forster but cannot tell you what site I went to. I do believe it was their home site...keep looking there. You will have a problem if you use a 22 cal sleeve as the .243 seating stem won't go in the stem opening of the sleeve.

Yes you can switch the die over, you'll need a sleeve and a seating stem. I switched a .257 Roberts die over to 6.5X55 Swedish Mauser. None of the vendors at the time had the necessary parts, so I made a call to Forster, and in about 4 or 5 days I had the parts for the conversion.

I recently inquired about changing a seater over and was politely told no.

I may be missing something or don't realize exactly which parts are required for certain caliber changes but price wise doesn't seem worth it. Sell the old one and buy a new one.

The sleeve is $29. I bought one to change from .257 Roberts to Ackley from Forster. She was very helpful.

Thanks for that link. It was exactly what I was looking for. That is the difference between spending $90+ dollars vs $40. I will give them a call.

Called Forester and the lady was very helpful. Found the parts I needed and took my order.
Simple and good service.
