New Reloading Bench

Very Nice , Like the T-slots makes for versatility as you go. Did you use any leveling feet? I may use this design.

That is very nice jthor it looks great! How did you support the overhang?...The t slots are a real nice touch as well I been wanting to do that for a long time.

The butcher block is 1.75" thick and I tested the over hang by putting 500 lbs on the edge of it. Really no need to support it.

That came out beautiful!
For my wet work and chemicals I used a premade kitchen countertop from H.D.
Easy to clean, not harmed by solvents, and easily replaceable. Put one over the top of my tool box.

I'm curious, how is the top and back stop affixed to the base?

Thanks.

The top is screwed into the frame. You can see in the stain where the holes were filled with spot putty. The back stop is just screwed into the top at an angle with 3.5"screws every 6". Drilling the holes out is a must though otherwise the wood will crack.

Loves me some butcherblock. One of my regrets on my last bench is that I passed up a butcherblock slab at Grainger - just wouldn't spend the money at the time.
Very nice job. As someone else mentioned, I screwed a 3" x 3' x 1/8 steel strap to the bottom of the overhang to use for c-clamps. You don't have to worry about that with your track system.

Very nice! Love those t-slots! makes me want to scrap my reloading bench just to have that system.
I like it. Especially since I use my Dillon from time to time, it's nice to only have it on the bench when I need it and being able to move things around.
