update on where to get alcohol for hand sanitizing: The paint store had plenty of denatured alcohol. I stopped using a bleach solution on a washcloth. I read on the Clorox site that it degrades after 24 hours and doesn't work. Now I soak a washcloth in the alcohol and put it in a baggy. The straight alcohol will kill anything and doesn't degrade over time. Stay safe out there!

Oops! I think I already posted that! Maybe it's affecting my brain? Oh well! Better stupid than sick, right?

I ran out of toilet paper so I went to CVS and I had to buy a 12 pack for 18.69 plus 8 1/4 % tax. They aren't gouging are they. Towel paper was even worse. 6 rolls of cheapo stuff for 23.39 . I may turn them in to our useless attorney general's office.

I don't know, at this point. I think the wife is scared but she won't admit it. All I can figure is she doesn't feel like this is "home" yet and she'll feel safer back east .
The Clorox solution works great. Actually better at first, but degrades over time. Google the Clorox site for good info.

Just cause you feel comfortable back east doesn't mean its a better option. Less populated areas and an unfriendly attitude seem to be the best medicine.

OTOH having GOOD medical facilities might be important if you do get it.

I'd stau in TX and keep feeding the deer. Just dont eat the corn and get a case of mad deer disease.

I finally convinced her that it was "unwise" to go East. I think (during the third argument I used the phrase "really fu#%+ing stupid" to go anywhere!
We're staying put here on the edge of nowhere instead of heading towards the heavily populated East coast. Yey! I'm much happier!!

My yard and house is on a ridge but I have Creekbottom with creek several hollows branching out on my property lots of hardwoods lots of green fields for the deer also . It’s only 50 acres but it’s got a little bit of everything that I wanted
