Man, This is getting tough!

Butch,

Before we took the assignment in Tianjin, China, Bona and I went for a look/see trip. For dinner the 1st night we went to a nice multi level restaurant.

Sometime before dinner was served Bona had to use the restroom, you should see the look on her face when she came back. She whispered in our native dialect asking me if I knew what that covered bucket is for next to the hole in the floor? Told her their holes in the floor can't handle the paper very well.

Mind you this one is one of the top restaurants in the city.

The world has gone nuts. Not in my wildest dreams did I ever expect to ever see anything like this. People working in food stores walking around in almost hasmat suites, if you cough 100y from anyone people lose their minds. By the sound of it they are closing down our entire country this evening so i guess we wil sit in our houses going nuts. I think after 2 weeks locked up in my house i might need rehab and a church. Good luck to everyone. O FFS and dont even ask anyone if they want to go shooting its as if you ask them for a kidney

Jip in lockdown for 21 days.

Hybrid Blue Gill are bred to be larger, but not as prolific as most bream, sunfish, perch, or other pan fish.. We have weighed a 2lb Hybrid from our pond.

Yes, indeed! One of my favorite fishing pursuits is Bluegill. We caught 45 of those Herman Munster-foreheaded Bulls in 3 hours just drifting near the shores at Reelfoot.
We kept about half of the ones weighing a pound or more. Got lucky and caught a few 1 1/2 lb Crappie and one 4 lb Channel Cat; all on Crickets.
A glorious day and following feast!
Nice to reminesce while I'm waiting for them to start hitting again this year.
GotRDid.

Flatheads take bait?? What kind?? LOL We start May 21 here--lasts through July 1--or 7th depending on weather...

Those hybrid gills that Butch was talking about are mighty fine. Suckers and large creek chubs work great too. Things will get cranking good around here in about a month for Flatheads. The bite will hold up good until they spawn in early June. Things will pick back up the end of July and the fishing will be good until the water starts to get cold again.
