Well, PA govoner declared state of emergency and all non essential businesses are closed for at least 2 weeks.
I'm thinking where i buy my firearms and reloading supplies is "essential".

By the time we're ready to leave, I,'ll have to travel armed just to get thru the road blocks. I "heard" they're thinking of shutting down the interstate highways. I talked to a girl at the Western wear store, today. Her sister is traveling from Ohio to come stay with their father, who's dying of old age. The sister reported going thru checkpoints at the Ohio border. Kentucky just closed all restaurants except Drive thru. Told the wifey. She says "We'll just pack food." I said they might close the motels, too. She says " They can't do that. " ... So I may be driving for four days, sleeping in the car, eating cold Chili from a can with a grumpy wife and two dogs that have to pee every 2 hours while getting stopped and interrogated at every State border. This woman is going to kill me yet!
I am staying as positive as I can tho. I bought myself a new pair of Luchese boots today for my birthday tommorrow. Figured I deserved them before my wife gets me killed! I'm a 63 year old smoker. A trip like that will weaken my reserves! If I catch the bug then, it might just kill me. Sorry, it's late and I'm tired. Maybe my imagination is getting the better of me!

I don't understand how you can buy a firearm online. I recently purchased 2 S&W MP's from Gander Mountain, and took 20 minutes to answer all the questions on their "computer" on the counter in front of me before I could walk out with them, ( for back ground check) .

Fooled ya! After the last Obamanation ammo shortage I stocked up. And am still stocked. Three 5 gallon buckets full of brass. A metric shit ton of powders, Primers, and a cabinet full of bullets.. And yes I have a rather large hoard of rimfire stuff..

I went to the range today and stopped by Lowes to look at freezers. They did not have any in the store and told me that they have no idea when more will come in. I was told that over the weekend they were mobbed with people even buying the demos and carrying them out the front door. This is really getting crazy. They did have a large amount of toilet paper so maybe the run on that has slowed down.

It's easy!... But you have to understand the process. You pay the vendor and they send "your" gun to the registered FFL of your choice. You go to pick it up. That is when you fill out the paperwork and they do the background check. If you don't pass the background check, you don't get the gun! See?

I just went to Gander MT. and they did it all for me. Took a day to get my back ground checked, because of the amount of people buying firearms, 3 weeks ago the handgun counters were full. Today,,,almost empty. Moreover.. NO handgun ammo available ! Just all gone.

Stay home. Dont get vulnerable out on the road. As long as that trip is things change real quick. You may not even be able to get gas. Be sure you come thru arkansas incase you need something- ill take care of it border to border. Got alot of traps out there yet to run

Yea that was total bs because i did a military move during that time and had to start from zero. My dad now gone came to visit and paid 60 dollars for the 325 box of federal target 22. In perspective that was still worth it, but dam what a gouge. I still can't bulk up, but i have components for a little bit. Picked up two of the exact same federal target boxes for 16.83 at walmart today.... They are now out

I visited two gun shops here in Australia today and saw even over here gun shops are doing well in these times. Of course they aren't worried about needing to defend themselves over here, but many are anticipating some periods of self isolation and are opting to take the opportunity to get out bush and go hunting, camping and fishing.
I have let my fired cases and cases needing prep build up to give me something to do in case I need to kill some time. I stocked up on more powder, primers and pills for my hunting guns today as did everyone else I knew in the shops. Tomorrow I will be getting a better tent and topping up gas bottles waiting for my excuse to get out camping and hunting for a while and hopefully get out to some 1000yd ranges to test loads while the weather is perfect.
