7-6.5 PRC

7mm stw is about 50% higher capacity, about 93 grains. You're thinking 300 prc necked down which probably is similar to the stw. 6.5 prc capacity is around 62 grains, maybe 64 necked up to 7mm.
I was referring to the post above about the 7mm LRM which is the 375 Ruger necked down to 7mm. The 300 PRC necked down to 7mm would be close to the same thing but I think the shoulder on the 300 PRC is further foreward.

If you're convinced you need a 7mm wildcat based on oddball brass then consider the 7mm WSSM. Depending on your powder choices and throat length a 7mm WSSM will net you 2820fps from a 28-32" barrel in the 180 class projectiles.

Case capacity is 3.64g of water (basically a .25WSSM necked up).

The 6.5 PRC's been on market for about a year. It has the support of single brass manufacturer. That makes it oddball until it's survived the test of time.

If the objective is to drive a 180gr class projectile to 2800fps then there lots of ways to do that with existing, long-established cartridges. A wildcat by definition is an oddball. Making an oddball wildcat off uncommon cartrigde brass casings may prove to be an exercise in frustration. Time will tell.

That said, if you want a 7/6.5 PRC the go do it. You'll get your 2800fps.

Bertram, ADG and Hornady are all already making 6.5 PRC brass.

The objective is to drive the new 190g Berger Long Range Hybrid bullet to 2830 fps as prior post inquired.

At what throat length and action length are you planing on using? I guess if your going F-Class it doesn't matter. But I'm not sure of your intent?

To ask again, would a 7-6.5 PRC improved be able to get 2820ish with 190g Berger’s from a 32” F-class rifle?
No worries about feeding as these will be single loading.
Sorry I missed this part about F-Class rifle. So you will be single feeding.

You're getting closer to 7SAUM territory. But the SAUM may have a longer neck?
Yes the 7SAUM has a little longer neck. The 7mmx 6.5PRC will have a little less case capacity than the 7SAUM, the 7 x 300RCM is nearly identical in capacity to the 7SAUM.

All the new PRC brass makers are making 6.5 saum brass also I believed (adg,Bertram, Hornady) could neck those up also for more capacity

I have a 30” 6.5 saum coming to see if 156 EOL can last 20 shot string, on paper it is equal to 180 hybrid, in my 25” bbl 6.# saum I can get to 2910 at magazine length

here is picture of 144 and 156 6.5mm Berger next to 180 and 190 Berger 7mm

the 156 looks good

The 6.5 SAUM does look interesting to me. I would like to try the heaviest match bullet that they make for it using a long action, so as to get the most speed for powder volume. But right know I have a 7 SAUM that shoots the 184 Hybrid and 190 Hybrids great . So I'm pretty happy sticking with it for the life of this barrel and the extra barrel (Chambered with the same reamer) that came with it.

TTT.
Anyone already doing this?
I have a 7mm x 300RCM that I still need to do load development for. The only difference between it and the 7mm x 6.5PRC is the shoulder is pushed back about .070" further on the PRC. I don't see much practical difference between the 7 x 300RCM and the 7mmSAUM but I picked up the reamer and dies and a bunch of brass cheep for the 7 X 300RCM so I decided what the heck I'll give it a try.
