Vudoo 22 LR rifles

Anyone shooting a Vudoo V22 ? If so what has been your experience in accuracy and customer service? Thanks for any help.

Absolutely everything that everyone says they are shoots .2-.3 at 50 yards, .7-.9 at 100 yards, I recently took mine out to 350 yards trying to get some dope for an upcoming match I shot a 6” group at 350 in 14 mph winds. Costumer service is second to none, buy with absolute confidence!

snipershide is the best resource for vudoo info without a doubt.

Call them. Very good people to talk to. As far as what barrel...what are you planning to use it for and how much do you want to spend ?

I've had mine for several months now and everything good that you have heard about them is true. Mine has the Kukri barrel and Calvin Elite trigger and I'd do it again in a heartbeat. I did go aftermarket stock because I love wood laminates. I bedded the action and it goes head to head with the chassis and the Ridgeback just fine.

I bought an action in Sept. of '17 & did a Krieger sendero blank for it in my shop. It's a fine shooter & runs very slick/smooth. I wouldn't trade any of the three Vudoos of mine for anything else. Your choice of standard barrels from VGW have been ACE & Bartlein; I think they're also doing some Kriegers on request. Proof is extra cost of course, and I really don't know how accuracy with the Proof bbls compares to the other cut-rifled bbls I mentioned. Don't believe I'd change my choices - I have two Kriegers done in my shop, and bought a bbl'd action with a Kukri contour Bartlein. I doubt very much that anything else is going to out-shoot these bbls, and from what I've heard from many owners with the ACE bbls, they're on par with the Bartleins for the most part.

I want to shoot long range and be able to shoot precision at 25-50 yds. I'm ready to pop on one, but I'm new to 22's and I just want to make sure I get something capable of what I want to do.

What would a 22" heavy (kurki) barrel be good for? Short range or long range or both?

Also, what the difference between a V22 and a 22lr V22? Is the V22 not a 22lr? I'm confused..

My 18" has shot to 500 yards so you have chosen the right platform. You just need to figure out the specifics of what you want. Below is a video on barrel length. Honestly I wouldn't go longer than 20" myself as 18-20" is a good length for velocity and accuracy. Some try to use long barrels to mimic a centerfire but you don;t need the rifle to be the exact same as your centerfire match rifle to get good practice. I shoot 28" barreled rifles in my centerfires and get great practice from my 18" Vudoo shooting rimfire matches. A lot of fun too.

The V22 is a 22LR. It's their action name. They are coming out with a single shot S model and a Magnum M model as well. But if you order a 22LR repeater you will get the right action.

I ordered my V22 in a KRG Bravo stock w/ 18" Ace Kukri barrel in March of 2018. Vudoo's customer service and build quality is second to none IMO. Favorite rifle to shoot, especially suppressed. I shoot 50y for entertainment and a monthly 100-200y benchrest match.

I forgot to mention above that my barrel is a 20" Ace Kukri. Before you order give them a call and talk to Paul or Greg. Not only will they answer your questions honestly, but they will help you to get the rifle you want for what you want to do; for instance, deciding on length and which barrel you want. An example of their honesty is when Greg was talking about barrel brand. He told me he is shooting a Bartlein, but that one of the engineers told him that the Ace has a slight advantage (ask him why, I don't want to go off on a tangent) although he doesn't see any way his could do better than is does.
Definitely call them first!

20200214_124904.jpg I ordered the 18" kukri. At first I kind of regretted not getting the 20...until I shot it. As everyone else has said, customer service is everything that you could ask for.
