22 Creedmoor Precision

I own four 22 Creeds, and all four of them drill....especially 88's.

Chomping at the bit to get my hands on some 90gr Atips...

I own 3 wildcats and one of them is the 22 Creedmoor. I must say, there was almost no load development involved. It shot a big, one ragged hole from the start.

You guys are twisting my arm really hard. Couple of good shooting outfits right there.
 
Can you guy's give free bore on reamer,
And velocity with the bullet you are using please?
Have been trying to decide on a 22x47l
Or 22 brx.
This info will help me make my decision.

I just ordered a reamer from JGS with a .110 freebore. After measuring several different bullets in the 69 to 80 grain range that .110 number seemed to be the best fit. You could use .090 to .100 but it doesn't leave much room at the base of the neck if you find that your barrel wants a little jump to tune well. If you're after the 88's or 90's you will probably want .120 or a bit more.
 
I think if I was going to try it again, I would definitely go with the 22x47
The 22br doesn't have the speed to make it worth while. (for me )
I have plenty of 6x47 brass and it gives me almost the same speed as my 6 creed did.
So, with a little less powder and a little longer neck than the 6 creed case
might be a good one to try next for me.

I think as with any rifle, your build and components are going to make more of a difference than anything else.

I shoot the 22-250 AI with an 8 twist and couldn't be more happy with it. I'm not leaning on it and with 75 gr ELDs I'm getting 3370fps and SDs in the 6-8 range with RL23. I shoot less than an inch at 300, around 2 inches at 450, and hit easily at 780 yards on steel, the furthest I've taken it out to yet. I was getting about 5 inch groups out to distance with a 4-14 scope.

I will always have one to play with.

I got in a trade a ruger stainless target 25-06(??) never knew they made it in that caliber. had a 1x8 shilen barrel put on in 22-250 and first load with h-414 and 75 A-Max bullets shot 2.5" group at 500 yds just like your rifle I like the long action for bullet seating flexibility

I'm glad it's working for you, I've heard about the Ruger 25-06 target rifles before, legend says the rifles are real shooters. You'll love it. I'm finally starting to work with a savage 12 in a 6mm Dasher, something about those tiny cases and the performance they give is amazing. I'll probably keep the 22-250 AI but I'm going to look into a 22 cal BR cased round to see if I can run close to it.

I love my lightweight standard 22-250 with SW 4350 and the 80gr ELD so far, might want to look into that also.
