6.5 StaBall

Since it's a ball powder, compression will likely not be an issue, it may be a perfect slower burning powder for a 6BR.
Look forward to seeing results from it's use in a 6BR.

I have in my dasher. I hit pressure at 2980 hut for some reason my dasher barrels are barrels are always slow. Itll work just fine for a straight br

Not completely relevant to the BR family but I tried it in my 22-250ai with 75s

Started getting pressure before I got any speed. It was quite a bit slower than both H4350 and R17

Accuracy was very good however.

I did see on Hodgens site that it was the fastest load for a Dasher with 107SMK of all the powder listed. I did see I can get the same load in a 6BR Imp. without compression....jim

I've been testing this powder as time allows in a 7-08 imp with 184s recently.

Once I started jumping the hybrids I started compressing powder at 44.5g of RL 16 at 2700 - 2720 fps.

I can get more than enough Stabal 6.5 in the cases to get beyond 2800 fps but was getting ejector marks on most and swipes on a few.

I plan on backing down to the mid 2700s to explore what looked like a node there without pressure and test the 180s up to pressure also.

Here are a sample of speeds and two targets. First outing column one and two are the same round shot over both chronos to not miss any data and compare chronos.
Column 3 was Labradar alone shooting ladder at 600

These two pics are the second outing shooting a 3 shot group ladder at 600 with velocities. These are the rounds with ejectors and swipes.

I tried staball in an 18” 6 br with good results. Sd 2.8, Es 5. I plan on trying it in a longer barreled br also.
Photo is 12 rounds at 600 yards. 105 hybrid.

Neither, too hot for the brass. 46.5 - 46.9 is very accurate in my Broughton barrel down around 2700 - 2720 with 180s or 184s jumping .036" very easy on brass and 47.5 will get 2760 +/- with good accuracy but may be hard on the brass in warm weather.
