Has anyone actually lay hands on the Winchester StaBall powder?

I received 8 lbs of it. I loaded up a few charges in half grain increments to see what I was working with.

Here’s my results in a 6 Norma Dasher. Temp 35* , 26” brux 7.5t, 105 Hybrids, Norma brass, cci 450

37.0 gr 2917 fps
37.5 gr 2953
38.0 gr 2983
38.5 gr 3050
39.0 gr no data, my mistake.
39.5 gr 3136 sticky/stiff bolt - stopped test.

What about accuracy? Those are great velocities but I hear you can't miss anything fast enough to kill it.

I am looking at this powder for my 6mm Creedmoore PRS rifle. I am getting excellent results using H4350 so far. So, I am wondering if there is any reason to try StaBall 6.5. I have an auto trickler that throws to the kernel so metering is not a problem with the H4350.

Here is a 5 shot group at 100 yards from my Impact Precision rifle. With a 105 Berger Hybrid, I am getting just under 3200 fps with Standard Deviations of under 10. One as low as 4 (ten shots).

StaBall is a little slower burning verses H4350. Might get a few more FPS out of my 26" barrel but not sure there is any need to mess with my results so far.

No. Standard Berger 105
Pointed. I do have some coated
DTACs to try.

I tried staball in an 18” 6 br with good results. Sd 2.8, Es 5. I plan on trying it in a longer barreled br also.

The tests I have seen with those powder show its temp stability is nothing special at all. Pure marketing. It's not bad performance, but nothing really out of the ordinary.
