I agree. I don't like them using the Mustang name on it. I've owned several Mustangs in the past. Some as quick as running 10's in street trim. The grill it butt ugly in that one. Some of the models have a different grill shown below. I did the picture before I saw it.

I played with the picture in Photoshop and added a grill, driving lights, and different wheels in the picture below. I think it looks much better. The factory grill in the bottom picture is hideous.

So while at lunch today I noticed what I think was a female wearing a black satin jacket on the back in big bold white letters...

I think they are after the Porsche Cayenne market. Ford doesn't have any pedgree for making performance SUV's, so they seem to be borrowing off the "Mustang" name.

I guess that qualifies as Ford's "weird sense of humor."
