New Bergara 22rf bolt gun

Looks is the key word. Not controlled round feed like the Vudoo. Will be a decent option for someone but not the same as your Vudoo.

And possible mag patent infringement is still being worked out. Have to wait to see what happens.

Yes. There is no free lunch. No way an $1150 rifle is as good as a Vudoo.

Is there an actual patent infringement suit happenning? Or coming?

They need to drop the MSRP $150 to get into the new "factory" class for ARA.

Manufacturer's Actual Price

Which is not the same as MSRP

Talked with ARA / Killough's. They said MSRP is the number they will go by - as compared to street price, which will fluctuate wildly. They didn't mention MAP, but I'm hoping yer right.

Not yet. Still talking and hopefully it doesn't come to that.

Not sure if ARA goes by msrp or street price or MAP.

If a retailer/wholesaler signs a MAP agreement.. then they can not "advert" the item for less than the MAP price.. but they can sell for less than that (ie street price), just can't advertise at a lower price than MAP.. hence why you see wholesalers with "Call for price".. If Dan is going to sell it at "MSRP", then i feel that the reason behind that is that he does not want that rifle used in the "factory" class.. i could be wrong, it is nothing more than speculation on my part in that one regard.. but hey, that could all change..

To be clear.... Dan / Killough is not where I'm seeing the MSRP for the Bergara and he never said he'd be selling this particualr rifle. I don't want to give the impression he said he was. The Killough's rep was just giving me general info re: ARA's policy re: MSPR for factory class. Sorry if I caused any confusion....

ok.. so you talked to Paul.. thanks

I didn't see anything about an adjustable trigger or trigger weight. Anyone else see or hear anything? It would suck to spend that much and have to immediately get a trigger upgrade.

Edit: While I'm not interested in this rifle, I'm glad to see it as more manufacturers putting new products out on the market means more interest and growing the sport!
