Twist rate for dasher

Will a 7.83 twist rate stabilize the 110SMK Im new to the Dasher and would like to have as much flexibility as possible as far as bullet selection. What twist rate and bullet combos are most using for this cartridge

I tried em in a 7.5 and didn’t have much luck. Settled on the 105 class bullets. Some people have made them work at 7.5 or 7.8 though

I live at sea level and shoot 115 DTACs out of a 1:7.5. They stabilize fine.

According to my numbers they need around a 7.52 twist min and I think that was at 2800fps. That being said I made a 1-7 twist barrel and chambered it in 6BRA. I struggled with the 110SMK. The 107SMK Tipped bullets shoot like laser beams. The 110 Hornady ATIPS also shoot really small groups. The 110ATIPS on the one load I chronographed are coming out at 2822fps and that’s out of a 26” barrel and I’m not stepping on the load. The 107s are coming out at 2886fps. Again not stepping on it.

The 107smk and the 110ATIPS seem to tune really easy with a wide tune window. The 110SMK my vertical was good but groups always seemed to be wide. I’d stick 3 or 4 rounds but randomly would throw one or two.

Yes that was my experience as well. I could get really small clumps of 2 or 3 but then it would throw fliers. It was a load for f class and over a string of 20 it would throw out 5 or 6 fliers which I could never stop. Switched to a 105 Hammer and the problem immediately stopped.
