not knowing but 10 years ago I cut down a cedar tree and ended the owls hunting at night in my yard, used to really like laying in bed in the summer with the windows open hearing the rodents squeal when they got caught, now I have to buy traps

Cats do serve a purpose. We live in the country and have grain fields as close as 60 yards away. We've had one mouse in the house in the 27 years since the house was new and that was before we had outdoor cats. You find dead mice all the time but never any in the house, garage, or sheds. We have 6 outdoor cats and 1 indoors. Everyone else that have no cats nearby have mice problems.
