No i mean budsgunshop.com. Its not their fault they have no idea what remington sends them. It hasnt been trued

Dusty, what action is that? I can see the left hand bolt and cut bottom cut out in one pic. Would be interesting to hear what some of the other guys are getting when they order bare Rem actions. I ordered the solid bottom single shot and its not bad for the price, no complaints.

My father in law very recently built a 30-28 Nosler on a SS Rem 700. Action was purchased brand new for the project. Extraction timing is non-existent. The bolt handle doesnt even touch the receiver extraction cam just the same as the one in your photos. Open the bolt after firing a round and then have to pull back hard and extract the case from the chamber with brute force. Seems like Remington is definitely having some QC issues with bolt handle timing of late. His bolt lug contact is pretty poor as well, but that pretty much the way it is with every factory 700 until they are lapped in.

It is amazing how you keep finding the junk ones. I don't know anyone in my circle that has had a junk "40xish" Buds action, and all in we have probably purchased into maybe 50 or 60 actions in the last two years and they are all stellar. Almost all were single shots and right handed. I can't speak to the left handed.

Dude, they are $350... Stop comparing them to a $1500 custom action. What you are doing is comparing a Chevy to Ferrari standards for Chevy money. It is a Chevy. A really GOOD Chevy. For Discount CHEVY MONEY.

This isn't something Buds did, this is normal everyday R700s. The new RR actions are damn near perfect but the bolts still suck. Nothing a little silver braze and time can't fix. The new RR actions are light years ahead of the old prefix actions.
