Reloading bench build help/ideas

I need some help and ideas. I am about to build a reloading bench 24 feet long. It’ll be L shape. I want to put cabinets or drawers under the bench top . Should I bring them out near the edge or recess them. I reload both standing up and sitting down. There will be a space above the bench top and I’m going to build overhead cabinets as well. Any ideas on the depth of the bench top? Post pictures of your setup if you have a long reloading bench please. Also, please post pics if you are using a Tee nut system for attaching presses and accessories.

First thing you are gonna need is a 25' tape measure.

Me? If that was the plan I'd look at some cheap cabinets at HD. That's how I built a double L shaped counter top in my wife's sewing room.

Recess the drawers under, is my advise. Myself can't stand not having leg room under the bench.

I don't like anything under the bench permanently attached. A foot bar may be helpful. In your "L" have a slight gap between the benches. I have my scale on one and my press(s) on another so I can seat and not disturb the scale. I bought a giant roll-around at Home Depot last Christmas ( big sale) and it works great for all the reloading stuff you will be sure to accumulate.

Will cheap cabinets hold up to the stresses from sizing/swaging/etc? do you have a picture?

No drawers 4- 6" to either side of press.
...and never open a draw and use it to hold a scoped barrel ..then open the drawer next to it ....

I have a 6x3 bench. Needs to be 7x4. I have a wall full of adjustable shelves 8x8, 3 deep. Plenty of shelves but on short things space is wasted above.

I know, this isn't your 24' L shaped area, but I think it will give you some ideas on height and depth. I built one in the 80's and it is stout! I use a drafting chair when I sit, but mostly stand.

That is what I built. Modified it some. Very sturdy.

I don't like cabinets. Leg room and a foot board for me since I will both sit and stand depending on the mood as my benches are tall, as is the chair (drafting stool height chair).

I made it so the drawers just barely miss the top of my legs when my feet are on the foot boards. The rolling cleaning cabinet gets swung out when I am sitting at that part of the bench - have a permanent cabinet would drive me nuts.
