Reload 7 saum

Hi all,

Is 7 saum hard to reload or not?
I orderer new barrel for my R93 and i want to know opinions about reloading..
Thanks a lot

7mm rsaum H4350 53.0---53.6 gr 2825 fps is great with 180 gr Berger hybrid bullets can run it all day long shoots 3 inch to 5 inch groups at 1000 yards. easy on brass

The 7 SAUM is as easy as anything else out there to reload and is not any more difficult than others to find a load which works. Barrel life is not as great as some calibers though if you are shooting long, fast shot strings. Which bullets were you intending to use? If you are shooting an R93 I would guess you would be using it for hunting and not target shooting, in which barrel life wont be an issue.

I just built one on a Jard J70 action/Shilen barrel/Grs Berserk stock. With RL-17 playing with cheap 139gr SST's, I've shot .256 groups (several) at 100 yds and 1- .253 at 300 yds so far. If you want speed for hunting, RL-17 is a really good choice. Guys are getting very good results with heavier bullets and RL-26 ( if u can find any)

Yes is for hunting! I would try both berger and hasler bullets

I can find in Italy less powder than usa.. vithavuori norma reloading swiss forum example

Mine loves all the 160 class sierras MK TMK GC. 58.5 of H4350 pushes them all just over 3k in a 24in kreiger. All are under.5moa TMKs are under .25moa. My rifle didn't like bergers or hornadys at all in the same weight class.

Vihtavuori N165 or N160 works great in my Saum with 180g Lapua scenar, the 2900 FPS and low Es makes it a go to power for me in f.class, good luck

Has anyone used N160 with 180 Berger's in a .284 Win? I'm running low on Hodgdon powders and not sure when I can get more in this day and age.
