7 saum brass vs 300 saum necked down.

I have read and searched for all the previous threads reguarding this subject. I am having a 7 saum built that will have a .321 no turn neck. Loaded round on 7 saum brass is .3145. Looks like I have enough clearance to run necked down 300 saum brass. I read some comments about 300 saum brass being tougher in the primer pockets. I can get a pretty good deal on (250) 300 saum brass and this should last the barrel. 7 saum brass is hard to come come by right now. What’s been your pro’s and con’s for necking down 300 saum brass?

I have just started fire forming some this fall.
So far , the results have been excellent.
I don't know how it's going to hold up.
I've not done any load work on the formed brass yet.
My early lot of Nosler 7SAUM brass lasted
2 firings. Not happy. My Remington brass has been good on my other SAUM.

Well, yes. You want them to fill out to your chamber. That being said, I'm getting very good Accuracy with the sized brass. The Norma 300 SAUM Brass is a bit shorter
OAL. I don't see it as a problem, just a note.
A bit less capacity before fired once.

I don’t have a neck turned and have not been down that road before. I got such a good deal on the 300 Norma brass that I couldn’t pass it up. But I would regret it if I end up having to turn necks and have doughnut issues. Norma 7 saum brass has been out of stock for so long. Maybe I’ll wait tell my rifle is finished (2 months) then see how desperate I am to mess around with 300 saum brass.
