Titegroup powder sticking

Started using this powder in my rcbs charge master and its sticking, wont even drain out to empty from hopper, yes I've used dryer sheets, dont work.
I heard put some powder graphite in it ,swish it around?
What about rubbing the inside of it with nufinish polish?
Other powders dont stick

I got a qtip, and dipped it in the nufinish, put inside the chargemaster, where the powder sits, wiped it out with paper towel, obviously a lot slicker, loaded up a few 9mm ,then went to dump out powder,it was better, still had some powder stuck ,but it cleaned up a lot easier,i did shoot the 9mm I loaded, did not contaminate the powder

Wipe it with some liquid graphite like lock eeeze and let it dry. It needs a good layer of carbon graphite in it. Also store it with a dryer sheet

It was the first powder I ever used reloading, and I just thought it was normal. I have a little brush that I use to clean it out when the reloading session is over. Did not seem like that big of deal, but unique does not seem to require near as much effort to get out.

I've had problems with small ball powder being tossed around as it exits the powder tube, missing the powder pan and causing a mess. I only used it a few times before I switched back to a powder throw.

I took the tray off my Charge master and saw there were a few flakes in the scale itself. Can't really clean well in there so I stopped using them together. Much cleaner now. Too expensive of a unit to fill with fod.

Had the same problem. So I never again used my chargemaster with pistol powder.

Luckily titegroup meters very precisely from a powder throw.

I don't think most pistol ammo needs the accuracy that the Chargemaster affords.

Unless you're doing something like long range, supported shooting, in general, you're going to be the weak link in the chain, not the powder charge.

I shoot NRA and International bullseye pistol, and am more than satisfied with tossing charges straight from a powder measure.

Then again, maybe that's just me.

Titegroup is what I use in all my pistol cartridges. I drop it with the Lee Perfect Powder Measure. It is priced, looks and feels like cheap junk, but I check my weights periodically and it is always right on. Mostly 4.5 -5 gr powder loads.
It's sure priced right too.

On my xl650, the dillon powder measure throws titegroup and N320 very precisely.

I can't even tell the difference in group size when I use mixed brass compared to from just one brand and the same lot at that.

I have noticed bullet brand makes the biggest difference in accuracy.

My chargemaster is my one stop shop. I dont even own a separate powder throw. The amount of tightgroup between just enough and to much is so small I just use it. I do calibrate it and verify it each time. No ball powder yet.

TiteGroup also sticks to the loading reservoir of my Autotrickler V4. However, I need the accuracy of dispensing for delivery of 8.0 grains into .308 Win cases for subsonic loads. A small powder brush cleans off the inside of the reservoir and other dispenser parts with little extra effort. I don't want to coat my reservoir and other parts with unknown chemicals that might interfere with other powders.

Ive seen a number of pictures of broken frames from double charges due to sticking in progressive presses.

The high nitroglycerin content is melting the plastic. It sticks because it etched into the plastic. Do not leave in any powder hopper. RCBS is one of the worst ones to use it in.
Thank you for the alert on high nitroglycerin powders. Further digging uncovered the warning from Hodgdon, especially about clear polystyrene hoppers:

DO NOT STORE POWDER IN THE RELOADER POWDER MEASURE HOPPER
Powder left in the reloader's powder measure hoppers for extended periods, overnight or several days, should be avoided. Powder needs to be stored in original containers ONLY, when not in use. Numerous modern smokeless powders are double base in composition, containing both Nitroglycerine and Nitrocellulose. Many powder measures currently available use an inexpensive plastic containing polystyrene, which Nitroglycerine adversely effects when contact is made for extended periods of time, resulting in etching or misshaping the plastic. Normal usage during the reloading process does not provide adequate time for this to occur, so simply draining hoppers into the original containers when the reloading is complete for the day prevents ruining the hoppers.

What about some dry graphite spray,it dries after applying it?

I'd be worried about the propellant eating the plastic hopper.

I take a small piece of rag, tape it to a stick, sprinkle the rag with powdered graphite, and wipe down the entire area the powder contacts (that you can reach, anyway.) Works for me.

The powder sticks due to static, plus the fact that Titegroup flakes are really light.

I used tight group once in my Charge Master 1500 left it in the hopper over night and it was starting to stick to and eat the plastic I won't put it in it again. It's a shame too because I got some of my best 9mm accuracy with that powder.

It is not only tightgroup. Bullseye will also. And it is not static that makes the TG stick. It sticks because it is eating the plastic.
