I was segregating 223 range brass and came across something I had never seen. 223 brass headstamped with the Gorilla brand. Have you ever shoot Gorilla ammo?
Military orders on shotgun loads were usually sans headstamps by contract.
Straightshooter 1 where do you get Gorilla ammo? Never seen it before!
I picked up a piece of fired base with the head stamp 7.62x33. Fun piece to ask "What is It???'
"How about no headstamp."
In the 80's an acquaintance who was a retired ATF agent would buy large quantities of once fired brass from the government for resale to shooters. On a trip to his place to purchase some brass he showed me two non head stamped 7MM Remington Magnum cases. They were in a lot of four 55gal drums of mixed brass he picked up at the Glynco Ga. training center for the Secret Service. Allegedly for use by counter snipers when in other countries. I do know that he was told to bring them back on his next trip.
Its the one that tells you to not hire him. Can you imagine the other bad choices hes made in his life?Tim S Now that's a headstamp!!!!
If a countersniper was to use his gun somewhere covert he will use a local caliber/rifle and wouldnt be using a 7mag
Yes. Some 223 I believe with some 69 gr SMKs. I probably still have a box or two. None of my ARs have shot that bullet well, but they all like the 77 gr.I was segregating 223 range brass and came across something I had never seen. 223 brass headstamped with the Gorilla brand.
