these are hammers but I had similar pressure with the same load of vapor trail. I’ll try 30.5 or 30.4. I’ve tried varget and the pressure signs don’t happen but the groups aren’t as good.
My guess is if he had a chronograph out to begin with he probably wouldn’t have had to even ask the question.I tried some bullets different from what I normally use, found myself a little more than grain lighter than I was with hybrids. Same powder, same cases, same everything except the bullets.
Back off on the powder, dont worry about the speed. Find where it shoots and is easy on the cases. Throw the chronograph away.
How did the 28" Bartlein/237 bore/5R/ 7.5 twist shoot compared to the four grove?
ThanksAll have shot extremely well. Consistently in the 2s at 100 for me as a PRS type shooter. The 5 R seemed to settle in a bit quicker as far as speeds, but I'm not sure I have a preference between those two specs. This was before a match last month- checking zeros on both barrels to have ready to go. The 4 groove krieger was left, 5 R bart was right (same load). The kriegers have remained a bit faster in speed vs. the bartlein with the same 30.2 gr of h4895. I won a shilen barrel that will be tested next.

Have you chambered, formed brass , tuned and shot a BRA?I don’t like to be negative, but if you look at the aggs, I don’t see any advantage over a Dasher. People can debate all day but as I see it it’s a matter of choice. The Dasher takes more time to prepare brass, but you have more control over the final product. With the Dasher you have the ability to trim the neck beyond the shoulder junction. Power capacity is not an issue. It all comes down to the amount of time you are willing to spend on case preparation.
what Aggs are we talking ? from three four years ago or current? 6 & 10 match agg's as well as single small 5 shot and single 10 shot targets have been falling for several Season now the 6BRA version being the Lion share 0f that in IBS Williams Sport NBRSA 1000 yard and six hundred with far less seasons under it and it will continue to lower the average aging bar if you will allow it to show you the way. don't treat it like its a dasher or some other version and it will show you a hole new gear.. there is not a sole on this planet than can make more consistent Dasher brass than the BRA version period.I don’t like to be negative, but if you look at the aggs, I don’t see any advantage over a Dasher.
