V3 Auto Trickler Released!

Just received my upgrade Friday, took about 10 minutes to install and start using. Much faster to set-up. Thanks Adam for the continued work to improve the AutoTrickler.

When setting up the trickier base, do you have the trickier adjusted with the spout tilted up or down to stop over shoots?

Slightly angled up ie higher at the spout, play with the ramp down slider so that the last couple of 10ths are real slow - there is no prescribed angle ... it will become clear when you start messing with powder. Once you get it set you can basically forget messing with it ever again

The angle is determined by powder dropping into the pan at a rate of half a grain per second.. it will vary ever so slightly between powders like 4895,Varget and say 4350.. but roughly half per second then start tuning the speed bar.. JME
 
The app is on the play store - downloaded it yesterday for my Galaxy S8 phone and an android tablet. App works perfectly on both devices. Got the new updated electronics for the AutoTrickler and new trickler base yesterday. Works GREAT!! So easy to change charge weights compared to the old system. Just set the new value and it changes automatically. Absolutely worth the upgrade price. Great work by Adam. Anyone who has the AutoTrickler should upgrade to the new bluetooth electronics - a huge timesaver - especially during load development when you are changing charge weights for just a few cases at a time.
 
Installed the bluetooth module last night and played around with the app, seems to work well. I have the Autothrow turned off, but seems like it twitched a few times when activating the trickler (using the software button), so i just disconnected it. very responsive.
