Had a great evening with my new Cz 527 17 Ackley Hornet with Pacnor Super Match 9 twist barrel. 20 Vmax with N-120 powder. Deadly combo. Shots where 130-205 yards. Awesome little round!

Just worked up a load for this rifle Saturday morning and shot the Groundhogs Saturday evening. I got two more groundhogs at 214 and 243 yards with the 17 Ackley Hornet since Saturday

same with my CZ 527 in 17 Hornet, but have a accurate load with AA1680, but am going to try some with AA2200 also. But I must use the 15.5 NTX due to lead free law in my commie state.

You need a Crock Pot, or in getting more in tune with the modern world, an Instant Pot.

I do use a instant pot with my squirrels and groundhogs before i roll them in seasoned flour and fry them up. 8-10 mins in instant pot is all you need if you dont want the meat falling off the bone

You are right. When i shot my first 20 Vartarg in 2006 it was on after that. I now have several sub calibers
17 Squirrel
17 Ackley Hornet
17 TAC
20 Vartarg
20 TAC HV
20 TAC Rem Varmint
20 Practical
I really enjoy the 17 and 20 calibers!

Nice CZ. I have one, but LH, the standard American, which has too light of a barrel for me. What are the barrel statistics on that (maker, contour, length, etc.)?
