AMP with Aztec consistency among lot numbers

Just got the AMP a week or so ago and wondering if I'm using Lapua brass (6BR) all is same length and turned to .010 neck do I still need to "burn" a case for each lot? What has been every ones findings on this? Help would be appreciated!

If after neck turning both lots weigh fairly close to each other (within 1gr) I'm betting there is no need to Aztec another. There isn't a whole lot of temperature variance between 1-2 Aztec 'codes'.

I don't shoot 6BR, but if I were in the same situation, weight variance would be my deciding factor.

Mike,
Those are my thoughts also, I can see where it would make a big difference in calibers. I may try it just to see how much difference there is. Inquiring minds want to know! ;-)

If you look at the Standard mode in the AMP settings table and then scroll to 308 or 6BR etc and then find all the Lapua brass tested you can see the variations you are likely to get.
