Coyotes last night.

Well after a long 1.5 days on p-dogs and wet weather making us stop about 1pm I came home cleaned up and decided Yea Im going out after coyote tonight. Of course the rain/lightning storm followed me home and right before I told myself "stay in & start prepping all that brass" that I shot it suddenly stopped and by 930 pm was all dried off the roads. So out I go even though its later that usuall when I get to the ranch I hear them yapping as Im getting out of the truck to walk to a spot.
Nice and clear night, no wind cept for a very slight breeze...now that's good out here!
Yup maybe after 25 min of sitting (no calling) A coyote walks right to the cow carcass that's been there for 3 weeks now. I see her stop and look back to the creek she came out of, thhwwaaap I drop her then decided to just take a look over the ridge to the creek to see if she may have a partner dinking around in the cattle. I see coyotes in there and cows chasing them around. So Of course I removed them as well. Cant complain about the small ones, just like P-dogs they end up doing more damage later one.

A min+ long or so as I follow them trying to get better shots.

Doggone good shooting. I've been dithering on an IR rig but really expensive for me now for the quality I think I'll need to be satisfied. Doggone champagne taste and Ripple pocket. :/

You've sighted in to hold a tad low - to have a better sight pic?

I've just upgraded to xp50 and xq50 both lrf model's really like being able to range with them at a push of a button. Using m56fi mildot reticle for holdovers. Love the pic in pic feature. Still trying to figure out some of the video recording transfer stuff, but really like these units. Love seeing your videos, good hunting, keep stacking up the yotes.

They just haven't figured out how to avoid thermal, yet. You're vids sure make me want to take the thermal leap.
Once you go thermal you wonder why you waited. Once you go thermal you'll want to go as often as possible. It is the best investment I've made in hunting equipment. Have taken 18 yotes since end of October here in Ohio. When you scan a field you know immediately if there's animals there and in the tree's. See geese fly, airplanes, and every other living thing. Field mice at 150yds it's awesome.
