Will wind flags help me at 300 yards

I use a 5ft piece of #3 rebar with couple pieces of surveyors tape. Tape has a 12-16inch tail. One piece at the top (5ft) and one piece 2/3rds down (3ft). I put one at 10 yrds, one at 50yds, and then one that splits the remaining distance to the target (~125yards in your 300yd case).

Try to line them up so you can see the 50 and 125 ones in your scope and the closest one with your free eye when you're not focused looking through the scope. In other words, all need to be visible without breaking your shooting position.

In my honest opinion, there is nothing more important or that will improve your shooting more than a good set of flags and to spend lots of time shooting over them. Shooting without flags is literally a waste of powder and bullets. Just my 2 cents.

Then I can say with certainty that wind flags won't help. Maybe a sonar type system to get you on target better?

You won't regret getting Mikes flags, was at a shoot 3 weeks ago with lite wind and the only flags moving..............were mine (Ezell flags) and Mike Ezells (;0) not sure where he got his )
