If you make it to Dead Zero in Spencer TN give me a shout, I can get you out to 1603 yards and farther if we move a bench.
TT was looking on Dead Zero site which shows 1000 yrd range. Do you have access to another area for 1600+

Yes luckily I have a pretty nice private range that has some distance.
Well I am on East coast, border of VT. and NY. Luckily I have a farm which allows shots to 1400 yds. My rifle needs more room so I am always looking for longer distances . Rifle 300 Norma Imp

If you ever find yourself this way give me a shout, we have 1600 from our concrete benches and can go farther by moving a portable bench back.

Prefer to shoot prone off bipod so no worries regarding benches. Dead Zero from web looks like an organized facility. Will take you up on offer!

Sorry I see you were asking. Kinda hoping your response was that there was one in central KY.
The Deplorable Riflemans Club out near Hazard KY has a 1600 yard range. T post hangers for steel type targets and some barracade type shooting positions as well as a covered shooting platform/shelter are there as well. They hold PRS matches and some other friendly informal long range matches pretty often. There is a range near Cave City KY, Rockcastle Shooting club or something like that. they have a range longer than 1000 yards, but have never shot there. The only other options are the twice a year club matches at Camp Atterbury or the nationals they shoot there in August and then the matches they just started down in Georgia at the Arena Training Facility complex.
I've only shot 3 gun down there, but were you shooting 1K in what they call the Valley? If they will let you shoot from the barn to the far treeline, you could get 1600. The first match I ever shot down there, Barrett sponsored one of the stages, shooting their 50 BMG at an old pickup truck at 800, and we weren[t even half way across.
PS: Just checked their website, the are advertising 1600 yds at the Thunder Valley Range. Must be a member or accompanied by one.

No need to be a member or know a member to shoot 1 mile at thunder valley. All you need to do is show up on a open range day and pay your 30 dollars.
