UBR-MTSA - Dry Branch Rifle Range-Dixon Springs TN 5/4/19-correction

If you are within driving distance and would like to compete in a UBR match this Saturday, you will be welcome. We will be shooting a 100/200 meter agg, The safety meeting will begin @ 9:00 AM with the match to follow immediately. Although rain is expected, the wind conditions look favorable. The range is located at 175 Dry Branch Rd, Dixon Springs TN. Match fees are $30 for one rifle and $50 for two. The fee includes lunch and drinks for the day. No membership is necessary to compete. Any rifle you choose to bring will comply with one of the classes.

Weather looks like it will be "interesting", but as I just told someone on the phone, we've never called a match due to weather. We shot a match on the day of the Nashville flood a few years back. Other than wet targets, it went pretty well.

I'll be there if all roads there aren't flooded! I don't think it's supposed to be that bad, though. I'm very sure of one thing, for better or worse...the weatherman is a liar!

There is quite a bit of rain forecast so we decided to make it a 100/200 meter Agg. We don't have a gravel road across the 300 meter berm and it could be a problem. 100/200 will be muddy placing flags, but it's doable. I've corrected to opening post.

Turns out it sprinkled about 30 minutes and we had pretty decent conditions..
