Tomorrow, Saturday August 3rd we will shoot a 100/200 meter match at the Dry Branch Rifle Range near Dixon Springs TN. Safety meeting will begin at 9:00 AM. It was a hot & humid day with very difficult conditions. The low scores show that. We only had two of 500 or better. One new shooter joined us and two who haven't shot a match in years. Things are continuing to look up at Dry Branch. This month we were down in attendance just a bit due to many different circumstances for a number of regulars. I expect the numbers to climb somewhat as thing begin to cool off. Congrats to the winners especially Wayne Hearn who won is first match! Wayne & Tom Aldridge shared the shared the same rifle and finished 1st & 2nd in Custom Class. I doubt that rifle cooled off until they finished for the day.
