Hi Guys !
First ladder ever ! 300 yards , 6BR , 105 hybrid , Varget . A little windy ! All opinions encouraged and welcomed.
Thx
Mark
Was this fired with new brass, that had not been previously fired? If that is the case I would retest with brass that has a couple of firings on it, and has been properly FL sized. A friend was not getting the results that he expected doing a workup with new brass, firing new cases for each test, and his problem went away when he changed to reusing a smaller set of cases.
What is the current seating depth?
I would probably test again at
29.4
29.6
29.8
30.0
30.2
Hopefully light wind

We all like velocity, but I would retest in the area of 3-6. That looks to be the most stable and broadest area.
Probably with lie charges is at longer distance they tend to fall apart.
I like the high nodes

You didn’t shoot groups you shot a charge ladder .Due to wind the groups fall apart ?

Do as you wish, I’m out

At what distance are you talking ? Need a little more info to go with that statement to mean anything .Problem with light charges is at longer distance they tend to fall apart.

Base on your results, recommend you shoot another ladder with three shots per charge weight starting at 29.0 gr and ending at 30.3 gr (if no pressure signs) in .02 gr increments.
I so agree on 1 shot ladders. It's like the guy who loads 3 rds for shooting groups walks away from any with a pulled shot. One shot ladders can give you false info. Good Shooting
