While I’m a complete novice in my humble opinion, I think I’d start by repeating loads 1-6, perhaps a couple of times to see if something rises to the top.

What is the current seating depth?

I would probably test again at
29.4
29.6
29.8
30.0
30.2
Hopefully light wind

Was this fired with new brass, that had not been previously fired? If that is the case I would retest with brass that has a couple of firings on it, and has been properly FL sized. A friend was not getting the results that he expected doing a workup with new brass, firing new cases for each test, and his problem went away when he changed to reusing a smaller set of cases.

These were full length sized shoulder bumped about .002 !

I’ll give u seating depth when I get home ! Started Jammed , then went .03, .06 and .09 away from lands and .09 away gave me 1 hole at 100 yards ! 5 shots

Problem with light charges is at longer distance they tend to fall apart.
I like the high nodes

I’d shoot from 28.4 to 29.2in .2gn increments 5 shot groups at 200m in good conditions at the same seating depth that you shot ladder.. Pick the best elevation and then adjust seating in and out.. Then test that load at the distance you intend to compete at and fine tune seating and powder more finely either side of your found tune at 200m. JMHO good luck..

One shot ladders can give you false info. Base on your results, recommend you shoot another ladder with three shots per charge weight starting at 29.0 gr and ending at 30.3 gr (if no pressure signs) in .2 gr increments.

Good Shooting

Now that would be a seriously thorough ladder! Would be something like 195 rounds? :)

In all seriousness though, agree with your suggestions for testing 3 shots per charge weight in 0.2 increments. Also think it would be good if it could be done out closer to 500 yards rather than 300 yards, and on a calm day.

I so agree on 1 shot ladders. It's like the guy who loads 3 rds for shooting groups walks away from any with a pulled shot.
Speculation only on my end, but I call shot #8 a biffed shot.
