All wildcat cartridge rodent shoot

Haven’t managed it yet. This year I’ll bring a 6mm-250AI, 5mm Wasp and (the only factory piece) a 17 Hornady Hornet. Getting close but still not there. Who’s toting 100% wildcats in the squeak or poodle fields?

I've been shooting a 6x41 Vance, based on a shortened 308. Kinda like a long neck Dasher.

Shooting a 6BR for GH. 4100 shoots down the tube. It can still shoot 1/4" groups.

20VT and a .223AI are all I use for prairie dogs.

I take One 20 Ackley hornet. Three 20 killer bee's. Two rimmed vartarg's. Two reg. Vartarg's. Three 20tac's and two 20 practical's. If it's a prairie dog shoot. I'll add a 6mm Ackley, 22br and two 204's
Of course not all go on every trip, but I Was A Boy Scout and I do like to be prepared. The 22-250 s and the 220 Swift's hardly come out of the safe anymore. I think I'm neglecting them. Once you go Wildcat you'll never go back.

I've been ramping up for PDs all winter... not all 100% wildcats, but the guns for the season are all pretty unique: a 5.7x28 on a 700 action, a 20VT on a Haverkamp BR rig, and for the really long range shots the world's other 6x41 Vance is hanging on a Bat Model B LR Bench rig. Between customer rigs its been kinda fun to build some off-the-wall stuff.

Similar to a 6.5x47 Lapua pushed back and necked down to 6mm with a 30° shoulder.

I played around with this idea, but I working with a martini cadet action and was trying to stay with the smaller diameter case. I'd sure like to see a picture of one of your cases if you can, thanks

I am taking a 17 Ackley Bee - 17 SMc - 20 PPC - 22 BR - and a 22 PPC prairie dogging this year ! The bullets will be the 20gr 17 Berger - 30gr 17 cal Berger - 39gr BK & 50gr Berger- and the 53gr VMAX.
