I think you would be fine with an 11tw. with anything up to 40 grain in just about any scenario.

12 twist will run a 40 if it’s fast enough, but some complain it’s too slow. Therefore I would argue the 11 twist is reliable for the 40, but would not expect it to shoot 45gr or heavier.

Except for a couple custom bullet makers, does anyone even make anything heavier than a 40gr 20 caliber bullet anymore?

The 1 in 11" twist barrels will shoot the 45 grain bullets fine, ZERO Factory Bullets over 45 grains,have to go to custom makers

I shoot prairie dogs. The 204R with 39 grain bullets does most of the work. I shoot a 20vt with 32 grain Vmax for dumb close ones and my 20-250 9 twist with 46.5 or 55 grain BB bullets reaches way out.
