Joe, I figured if anyone still has these reloading supplies it would be more appropriate here vs. in a classifieds. its crazy that brass is only made once a year via special runs for these 30, 32 and 35 Remington calibers.

The 14's and 141's are great rifles. I have a Model 14 in .30 Rem and a 141 in .35 Rem. Both are a delight to shoot. I shoot a mix of jacketed and cast bullets in mine. Sorry, I can't help on the brass. I purchased a bunch of 30 Rem brass a few years ago. I used some, converted some to .32 Rem, and sold some to fellow reloaders who were in need. Now, I've got just enough (about 150 pcs) to get me by until the next production run, whenever that may be. Remington has done some limited production runs of the 30 Rem brass, but it hasn't been a regular thing. It has been a few years since the last one and I haven't seen or heard anything (from a reliable source) about an upcoming 30 Rem brass run for a long time. Grafs currently has some at $1 each. That isn't a bad price considering that it is a lower pressure round, and as long as your chamber is not oversized the brass shouldn't get over worked and should last a while. Besides, I doubt many people are shooting the .30 Rem in large volumes. 100-200 pieces should set a person up for some fun and last a good while. Best of luck and enjoy the rifle.

If not they do nothing,,WHAT..

They are there to.prevent a round from setting off the primer of the cartridge in from of it in the magazine. You do not need to use flat nose or very rounded bullet tips.

As an addendum you can also hold the trigger down and pump out a magazine.

So the cartridge can have pointed bullets . The spirals prevent the bullet from centering on the primer of the case in front of it .

I picked some up from buffalo arms some years go to nk down for my 25 Remington. The above post on midway is the right brass for the 30 Remington.
