E-Targets in High Power: Survey

NOTE: this pertains to NRA Slow Fire Events.
If you have an NRA high power classification, you are invited to fill out this 2 question survey regarding whether or not there should be a delay in reporting the score on e-targets.

You can only fill out the survey once, duplicates will be discarded. Results will be collected for one week and then the results will be posted.

Thanks,
Scott

The survey is misleading and incomplete. You cannot have a delay nor should there be for 3P High Power rapid fire stages. This should apply to Prone only matches or at best slowfire stages.

The survey is neither misleading nor incomplete. It is in response to a 10 page thread where the entire topic was about the need for a delay or no.. I do not believe there were any responses concerning "Across the Course" shooting in the thread..

I think the entire argument is much ado about nothing. Put in a delay if they want one. Don't if they don't. The best shooters are going to win regardless of a nonsensical 7 or 10 second delay between shots when prone. The best shooters win when they have poor pit service and they win when they have good pit service. Accuracy of the scoring would be the only real issue, and we also have that issue with pulled targets.

No delay. Who cares. Shoot your own match and don’t worry about what others are doing. Some days I shoot fast if the conditions are calm and not changing, other days I take the entire 22 minutes waiting on a condition. Pits, etargets, doesn’t matter.

And to anyone (a 3P HP competitor) who hasn’t waded through 10 pages of text and didn’t know any better you would swear the opinion was for a 7 second delay for every shot in every stage in every discipline.

The survey is targeted for slow fire events. For XTC rapid fire stages, you disable the delay. Thanks for the correction!

PLease note, we quickly overran the original surveymonkey limit of 100 (free) responses: in less than a day. So, I have converted this over to a sogosurvey with unlimited responses. Here is the new link, which is also posted above:

Do the people who had already taken the survey need to do it again on the new link?
