338 Norma Brass from Lapua - Updates?

As the title of the thread says, has anyone heard anything recently about when the general public can expect to see this brass in-the-wild?

I have a back-order in at Graffs for the Lapua brand brass, a customer reamer designed around the Lapua brand brass for 338 Norma Ackley in-hand, a rifle chambered with said reamer, Custom dies, bullets, powder, and match registration fees paid for an ELR match... but no brass.

Better buy some Peterson brass. If you keep holding your breath for Lapua to come thru you might not make the match...

US military is eating it all up. Can sometimes find Lapua Norma Mag brass outside the US, but even those places are out of stock now. Peterson brass is tough. Stay away from 'Norma' brand brass as they have weak primer pockets when pushed to max loads.

Hopefully ADG will start making the Norma Mag cases as well. Hearing a lot of good things about ADG brass.

Well you might be right... Latest update (estimate) from Capstone Precision Group when I called is now mid-May. Match is in mid-June. Assuming this date isn't missed, that doesn't leave a lot of time for fire-forming and load development.

I've heard mixed reports on the Peterson brass in 338 Norma. Either way, its a pretty big cash outlay to procure enough brass just for the match. Might just have to shoot the 6.5 PRC or 6.5 x 55 AI for this one, its not like I'm very likely to win it anyway :D

Well it's been almost 15 months since they announced the brass and everyone has it except US handloading component suppliers. So I wouldnt hold your breath much longer...
