Any idea what these old tools are for?

So I bought a small box of "gunsmith" tools 10 yr ago. I was going through them tonight and found these. I have no idea what they do or are for. The 4 slotted bars are marked 222,30/06, magnum, and weatherby. They all have 2 screws to clamp with.
The barrel stub has a spring loaded center pin. If pic is no good it says Enfield on it.
Any ideas? thanks Shawn

The barrel stub is for finding the length to the boltface on an enfield- highly sought after tool!! Itll also check firing pin protrusion

Are are the bars to clamp on the rim of a case stuck in a chamber ?

The second item is to screw into a action to put pressure on the bolt face when lapping the lugs.

I enlarged the photo and it seems that they are cut internally to hold the cases or headspace gauges . The Weatherby is for the large 378/460 size .
Need side and end photos . I can't see the reason for such a long bar . They don't appear to be able to be inserted in the actions .

Threaded on ends. I did stick on 06 brass I had and they do appear to grab the rim. But they are to big to go through a bolt raceway.

Well the way I thought they MAY be used with headspace gauges would be to use them on barrels not attached to receivers . More of a production set up to establish chamber depth and cartridge protrusion from barrel .
In other words , if a client had a barrel set up by me and down the road he wanted another to index and be exact ,I would make notes and have good measuring equipment. But another way could POSSIBLY be the use of a specialty gauge . The gauge would go inthe barrel and the tool would rest against the barrel . I've never seen so I'm just guessing .
Interesting . It covers all the basics ,but rimmed cases and the 35 Remington , of the 50s -80s

Rethinking it . Usually when I've had stuck cases brought to me , either in barrels or dies , the rim is usually toast , mangled , ripped , you get the idea . So it's still possible but the tapped hole with washers seems better and probably why these didn't take off . If that's the reason for being in the first place .

Welll I threw out my Lee 243 die that kept sticking the cases! I supposed i could forget to lube some brass before I resize! Lol

How much of your case was remaining ? Enough to grab it with one of these tools ? I just can't see it now that I think of how many pulled rims I've seen

If you dont pull the rim off you cant lower the ram or unscrew the die anyway so you didnt really stick a case and have a rim intact
