Remington bottom metal?

Has Remington ever offered a stainless BDL type rifle or action only package with a stainless steel trigger guard assembly? Either custom or special order? I know you can buy them as aftermarket, but i thought the factory stuff was aluminum or nickel plated steel. Did Remington ever offer one as a standalone part?

Some might be colored steel too. The custom shop used to include blued steel trigger guards on their custom shop stuff. I asked about buying one and they told me to go to Dakota Arms cuz that's where they got them from.

I see a trigger guard being offered as SS and the seller says it came with a new Rem SS action along with a couple other parts.

Their's is steel so you either need to blue it or maybe finish it with Metalife or Cerakote to match your action.

PT&G does not fit the stock nearly as nicely as the Sunny Hill does! Sunny Hill makes SS. Look for it on Brownells web site for the model numbers. Seems to me that Sunny Hill is about $175.

I got a ptg tactical bdl steel bottom metal it fit flush to my stock. Perfect fit
