783 trigger

Has anyone had any luck working on the Remington 783 trigger? Any word on timney coming out with one yet?

Don't know about timney doing one , I haven't needed to look but if you find one for a Marlin X L/S rifle it's the same .

Yes . my 783 trigger is adjustable and i turned it down to about 2lbs or less. It surprised me how good it was. The barrel was bad so i sold the gun.

I have one in 300 win mag . I have yet to shoot it as we are middle if fishing season right now . I have already bought the upgraded scope but that's as far as I have got . I got mine for 250 out the door at our gander mountain .i held and shouldered the ruger and the regular axis and decided I ilike the feel of the 783 the most . Everything from I hear it's accurate.

I took mine apart and re sprung it, it is a sweet trigger now, about 1 lbs. Also made a fixture to put on a custom bolt knob on the rifle....sweet!
