Torque those action screws..?

The difference in nothing but action screw torque... Same ammo , same conditions , same everything , only difference is the torque on the action screws.... This out of a factory stock Ruger American Rimfire .22lr , 16 inch barrel at 50 yards using CCI SV.... Just FYI the 35 inch pounds is what the factory says to set it at... ( 35 , 30 , 25 ) all inch pounds of course...
Please excuse my pull , I always screw up one shooting fast groups... Wanted to makes sure the wind conditions didn't change... All 5 shot groups.... I stopped at 25 but you can see the groups tighten up with just this little bit of change... Sometimes they may like a different settings from front and rear screws... Before you give up on a rifle, this is something so simple to do , plus you get to go shoot...

Nice, do you have a Picture of your Anne 1411/1413?
I like the old Anne's, they do shoot well.

My old Anne likes Eley Match 1060 FPS.
Not all lots of 22 ammo from the same manufacture shot the same.
One lot can Shoot tiny little groups, the next not so good.

Good luck with yours, enjoy.

Edit to correct eley ammo to read 1060 FPS.

I think it has more to do with barrel harmonic than stock flex since it likes much less torque than what the factory set it at....
