My 1st 6br.

Shot out the 6.5 creed barrel, now trying a 6br. These are three shot groups at 100. Barrel is broken in with 50 rounds through it. Using once fired Lapua, Varget, BR4s, 107SMK, Touch. I can explain target #1 but not #7. Yes that is three in #8. This rifle, on the bench, with a 3" forearm adapter and good rest. BTY I get hard bolt lift with 30.4.

You have a good looking rifle there. Looks like it's going to be a shooter too. I have all Remington stuff is why I'm going to do the Remage. What stock is that. I have a Manners T5A and really like it but am open to trying other stocks also.

#4 should be Censored...

Start pushing those 107’s in the lands a little. They love to be in! Off works too but in is magic.

That's a McMillan Gamewarden in Coyote Ambush molded in.

Thanks, I like that stock. I have been looking at NSS and getting my funds together. What contour is that? I'm thinking of ordering an MTU contour and a lighter contour for ghogs and coyotes.

Well you are officially ruined now;). Everyone seems to have their own definition of "touching" the lands, but touching has been a dangerous place for me. Just a leetle bit of difference in the ojive can cause flyers. I try to stay away from .005 off to .005 in. Course you are already outshooting me so free advice can be what you pay for it.

I watched them lap a barrel at the Shilen factory during their last open house/flea market. The video camera they use to look down the bore is AMAZING. Displayed on a big flat screen TV lets the technician do his magic without stooping over a borescope. Better, faster, cheaper. Usually you only get to pick any two of those three conditions, but they broke the rules on that one.

I just got my first Shilen select match barrel in a few days ago. Can't wait to try it out.

My shilen prefit shot best around 29.5 by looking at your groups I would try a load around the 29.5 range and adjust seating depth until it tightened up.

Mike that's real nice. I've been giving some thought to a 6br set up similar to yours. What action is that?
